Privacy Policy
Studystack Apps LLC (“Studystack”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a Utah limited liability company with its principal place of business at 2825 E Cottonwood Pkwy, Suite 500, Salt Lake City, UT 84121, United States, publishes the Windows applications listed on studystackapps.com. This policy describes the small amount of personal information we handle – on this website, through Study Sprint, and when you contact us – and the choices you have. Effective September 27, 2026.
1. What we collect, and why
We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, social-media buttons or session recording on this site. The complete list of personal information we handle is in this table.

Our applications run on your PC. They do not send usage data, crash reports or telemetry to us unless you explicitly attach a diagnostic file to a support e-mail. The license check compares your key with a signature stored inside the app and does not contact our servers.
2. Study Sprint – e-mail only
The sign-up box on our home page asks for one thing: an e-mail address. After you submit it we send a single confirmation e-mail with a link. Nothing is sent to you until you click that link; if you do not, we delete the address after 30 days. Every e-mail we send afterwards contains an unsubscribe link that works with one click and takes effect immediately, and our postal address as required by the CAN-SPAM Act. Frequency: six e-mails over two weeks after you confirm, then at most one a month. We do not measure opens or clicks, we do not append data from other sources, and we never rent, sell or share the list.
3. Who else sees your information
- Hosting. This website and the sign-up list live on servers in the United States operated by our hosting provider under a data-processing agreement. The provider may access data only to keep the servers running.
- E-mail delivery. Confirmation e-mails and Study Sprint go out through our e-mail service provider, which processes addresses on our behalf and may not use them for anything else.
- Payment processor. Purchases are handled by our payment processor as merchant of record; it is an independent controller of the payment data it collects and publishes its own privacy policy at checkout.
- Google Maps. The map in the contact section loads only after you allow “External content” in the cookie dialog. When it loads, Google LLC receives your IP address and sets its own cookies. Without your permission you see the address as text and a link.
- Legal requests. We disclose information when a law, court order or subpoena requires it, and only the minimum required.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months.
4. Your rights under California law (CCPA/CPRA)
If you live in California you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose (see section 1), to request deletion, to request correction, to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither), to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we collect none) and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise a right, e-mail privacy@studystackapps.com from the address in question or call +1 (801) 703-5518. We verify requests by sending a confirmation link to the e-mail address on file; for deletion of purchase records we may ask for the order number. An authorized agent may submit a request with your written permission. We answer within 45 days.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends it, our cookie dialog treats it as a refusal of external content until you choose otherwise.
5. Residents of other states
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, New Jersey, New Hampshire and other states with consumer-privacy laws have similar rights to access, correct, delete and port their data and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale and profiling. We apply the same process for everyone, regardless of where you live: write to privacy@studystackapps.com. If we deny a request you may appeal by replying to our decision; we answer appeals within 45 days.
6. Children
This website and our applications are not directed to children under 13, and Study Sprint is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children; if you believe a child gave us an e-mail address, tell us and we will delete it.
7. Security and retention
Connections to this site are encrypted (TLS). The sign-up list is stored in a file that is not reachable from the web and is read only by the people who run Study Sprint. We keep information for the periods in the table above and then delete it; backups are overwritten within 35 days.
8. Visitors outside the United States
Our servers are in the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, your information is processed here. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland may exercise the rights in section 5 in the same way; the legal basis for Study Sprint is your consent, which you may withdraw with the unsubscribe link at any time.
9. Changes and contact
When we change this policy we update the effective date at the top; for material changes we also announce them in Study Sprint.
