Cookie Policy
This page lists every cookie studystackapps.com can place in your browser, what it does and how long it stays. There are two entries, and one of them appears only if you say yes.
1. The cookies

2. How the cookie dialog works
On your first visit you see a card in the lower right corner with a switch for each category. “Accept” and “decline” are equally easy to reach, nothing is pre-selected and the map stays off until you allow it. Your decision is stored in ss_consent for six months; after that, or after a change to this policy, we ask again. You can change or withdraw your decision at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, which reopens the dialog and also lets you delete the cookie.
3. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of external content until you choose otherwise in the dialog. We do not set any cookie that a “Do Not Track” setting would need to block, so that setting changes nothing here.
4. What we do not use
No analytics (no Google Analytics, no tag manager), no advertising or retargeting pixels, no social-media plug-ins, no A/B-testing tools, no session recording, no fingerprinting. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address for the request but sets no cookies.
5. Browser settings
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. If you block ss_consent, the dialog appears again on every visit; everything else on the site keeps working. Instructions for common browsers are in their help pages under “cookies”.
